The Hobbit House at Casa Florestal

Such a unique stay in a hobbit house! The house itself is darling, and is exactly as pictured. Being underground, it is a little damp, and the shower did not drain fast enough to take a shower. The common areas could use a little maintenance as well. It is an adorable hobbit house!

A Lord of the Rings lover’s dream! We had a wonderful stay. The property is so peaceful and is nestled close to the mountains. The hosts were very kind!

Beautiful hidden spot if you’re looking for peace and quiet in a Portuguese country setting. The place could use some cleaning up as we found it a bit dusty and the outside area could use some clearing of overgrown vegetation. Would still recommend staying here as the area is beautiful.

La verdad es que la finca en la que se encuentra la casa Hobbit y el propio alojamiento son una maravilla. La experiencia no fue completa al 100% porque tuvimos un par de problemas circunstanciales con la luz, un electrodoméstico pequeño y demás, pero Assaf estuvo siempre a nuestra disposición para darnos solución inmediatamente a todo, así que repetiríamos encantados y recomendamos muchísimo el lugar.

Couldn't have had a better stay at the hobbit house. Already had my hopes up and still was very surprised by how amazing the place is. Everything works out perfectly, the house is super cozy and quiet, the pets are friendly! Although not accessible without a car the surroundings are beautiful, we loved driving to the rivers natural pools and walking around the tiny villages around.
